| The definition of 30 days |

What The Term "30 Days" Exactly Means Again, one would think that this definition wouldn't be up for debate, but if the car is out of commission for 29 days, you don't get a new car. It has to be a full thirty days, although they don't have to be in a row. Proper records are important, as the car maker and dealer won't help you with this part. According to state law, this is what the "30 days" means: The
vehicle is out of service by reason of repair of nonconformities by the
manufacturer or its agents for a cumulative total of more than 30 calendar
days since delivery of the vehicle to the buyer. The 30-day limit shall be
extended only if repairs cannot be performed due to conditions beyond the
control of the manufacturer or its agents. |
